We are looking for a passionate and committed IS/IT Technology engineer who can join our IT competence team. You will oversee the Office 365 implementation and follow-up of future developments. Due to the high level of complexity, this role requires an in-depth knowledge of O365 (SharePoint on-line, PowerApps, Flow, etc.), as well as strong leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a highly motivated team in a challenging environment.

The IT Competence Team Collaboration is involved in all projects related to collaboration solutions and applications. We strive for a close alignment with our internal business customers. The team is now heavily focused on the transformation to the new digital workplace; implementing O365 according to best practices.

We are responsible for continuous improvement of existing applications, as well as the day-to-day IS/IT escalations for support.

We are part of CT-IS (Compressor Technique - Information Services), which delivers services to the Compressor Technique business area of Atlas Copco. The department operates from the Compressor Technique headquarters, which is located in Antwerp, Belgium. CT-IS was founded in 2003 and employs about +100 people.

Your key challenges

  • Technology Engineer
    • Lead the technical and architectural set-up and evolution of the O365 platform. Be the technical lead and interface for our offshore team regarding SharePoint on-line migrations and site creations.
    • You are responsible for the follow-up of the O365 related projects against its stipulated goals, planning and budget.
  • Governance setup
    • You will contribute in the governance setup within the business area CT, making sure that business needs are covered. As an addition you will also help setting up necessary support governance.
  • Documentation
    • You are responsible for delivering the required process documentation, guidelines and protocols, as well as making sure this information is spread into the organization.
  • User adoption
    • Together with the Customer Success Lead you will focus on increasing user adoption with regards to O365 by providing the necessary training and promote the capabilities of the solution.

You report to the Competence Center Team Leader Collaboration within Compressor Technique Information Services.

Your core DNA

The candidate has a university degree, a bachelor’s degree in ICT or equivalent

  • An excellent knowledge of English is required
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Solution Suite is a must
  • Experience in migrations to O365/SharePoint on-line
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing business processes and working in a large international company is an asset
  • Project management certifications or equivalent is a must
  • The candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in large IS/IT projects of considerable size (> 200k€)
