As an IT Project Leader (warehouse and Logistics Applications), you are part of the Supply Chain Team. You are in charge of the day-to-day management of assigned IT projects. For this, you work closely together with the business project leader and other people from the company.
Your main goal: ensuring an excellent quality of the warehouse and logistics applications system processes, which need to be in line with the business processes. Furthermore, you guarantee an excellent application architecture and aim for a qualitative integration in our existing IT architecture. To do all of this, you analyse business requirements, write up functional specs and test programs.
During projects, you take the lead throughout the different project phases, from feasibility until final implementation. This involves you are responsible for the follow-up of the project against its stipulated goals, planning and budget. It also means you are the point of contact for all stakeholders, contributors and suppliers.This for both internal and external service providers in all domains.
Moreover, you manage issues and change requests and take care of the appropriate escalation when needed.
Your analytical approach and communication skills allow you to prepare and present weekly and monthly status reports for the project team, councils, steering committees and management.
Affinity and understanding of IT applications is essential in this role. Ideally, you have a university degree (Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering, IT, etc.) or you are similar through experience. You are a proactive professional who has minimum 3 years of experience in leading IT projects. Self-drive and passion characterize your approach.
You have experience with following matters:
Furthermore you have excellent knowledge of English since you work in a global team with a mix of different cultures. You are a team player which means you encourage knowledge sharing between colleagues.
Experience in working with ERP systems and ERP knowledge (BPCS, SAP,...) is a strong asset. Project management certifications are considered a plus.
